COVID-19 testing is available throughout Kings County. Contact your primary healthcare provider or visit any community COVID-19 testing resources

When to get tested

If you have symptoms

  • Vaccinated or not, get tested immediately if you’re feeling any COVID-19 symptoms. If an antigen test is negative, take another in 24-48 hours, as early cases can be missed.

If you were exposed

  • If you were exposed, you should consider getting tested as soon as possible, even if you have no symptoms.

  • Test again 3-5 days after exposure.

If you go to a high-risk event

If you travel

  • Test as close to the time of departure as possible and 3-5 days after.

  • Vaccinated or not, anyone entering or re-entering California should test 3-5 days after arrival.

Why get vaccinated?

Getting vaccinated helps your health, your family, and your community. When you're vaccinated against COVID-19, you protect yourself from a deadly disease. Vaccinate to stop the spread to your friends, your family, your elders, and the people who work hard to keep our communities safe and open.

Visit myturn.ca.gov to call the California COVID-19 Hotline at (833) 422-4255 to schedule a COVID-19 vaccines. 

Transportation is your vaccine appointment is available by KART! 

To request transportation to your vaccine appointment, call (559) 852-2776. Provide at least 24 hour notice prior to your appointment time
